Traci Criswell
Founding President & Owner
Traci started The Children’s Gym because of her passion for teaching children in a positive environment. She felt there was a need to provide a place for a diverse group of students to gather and learn gymnastics non-competitively. She grew The Children’s Gym from a small preschool gymnastics program, to a facility that caters to now over 1,000 students!

Andrea Lawrence
Chief Operating Officer
Andrea grew up here at The Children’s Gym and is now running the company. She is passionate about creating a positive and welcoming space for everyone who comes through TCG’s doors. The gym feels like part of her family and she wants that feeling to translate to students, parents, and staff alike. In her free time, Andrea loves spending time with her husband and three and a half year old daughter, Abigail. Andrea enjoys exploring the local food and wine scene, traveling near and abroad, and reading.

Tami Fitzgerald
TCG Squad Leader & Coach
Tami has been involved in the sport of gymnastics since the age of 5, both as a competitive gymnast and for recreation. She loves coaching all the ages and levels of classes here at TCG! Outside the world of gymnastics, Tami enjoys as much time with family as possible. Other activities she enjoys are fishing, hiking, rafting, hunting, camping, gardening and almost anything that is in the outdoors!

Christine Baird
Recreational Program Leader & Coach
Christine started competitive gymnastics in Germany, where she was recruited to an elite training program at the age of six. She competed at the National Championships twice, winning once, before she moved to the United States at twelve. She has coached for 19 years, specializing in coaching and managing recreational and competitive mens and womens gymnastics programs. Outside of the gymnastics world, Christine loves to travel, read, road trip and dance her way through life!

Megan Tramp
Gymnastics Coach
Megan was a competitive cheerleader and later coached her former high school cheerleading team before moving to Portland to coach an All Star competitive cheer team. She is an avid musician and has toured nationally for several years. Megan thoroughly enjoys teaching children’s gymnastics and the many positive life lessons that emerge in the under current of her classes. In her free time, Megan likes to make music and create art.

Brynne Anderson
Gymnastics Coach
Brynne did gymnastics for many years as a child, which led her to discover her passion for acrobatics. She loves the joy and playfulness that come with working with children, and in her free time trains and performs partner acrobatics, bakes, and crafts!

Elena Forristall
Gymnastics Coach
Hello! My name is Elena and I am a recent graduate from the University of Portland with a bachelors in psychology and a focus in physical therapy. I’m originally from southern California where I was involved in the circus for a majority of my life. I love working with kids and being able to create a fun and safe space for them to learn gymnastics. In my free time, I love going to the beach and exploring with friends.

Avery Briscoe She/Her
Gymnastics Coach
Hello! My name is Avery, and I have been involved in gymnastics for pretty much my whole life trough competing and coaching. I am also in nursing school and currently work with kids at Randall’s Children’s Hospital. I am going to be graduating next year. I work at TCG because I love the sport of gymnastics and I have love of fun doing this job. Outside of school and work I love to read.

Ellie Voss-Rothmeier She/Her
Gymnastics Coach
Ellie was a gymnast for 6 years. She did 4 years of recreational classes, then spent 2 years on a
competitive team with Junior Olympics. Ellie is currently a high school student . She has always
loved working with children and loves teaching gymnastics. In her free time, Ellie likes to spend
time with friends and family

Haley Duvall She/Her/Hers
Gymnastics Coach
Haley was a gymnast for nine years and competed for a year. After high school Haley started coaching gymnastics for four year while she completed her Bachelors of Social Work. She has always loved to create an uplifting and positive environment for kids and youth to learn and be creative. In her free time she loves to cook, hike, camp, or do just about anything that gets her outside.
